The new Trinka 12 footer is the third dinghy in the Trinka line. As the "queen of the fleet," the 12 footer features a full size "sit in" cockpit and a hull shape that nicely combines competitive performance with graceful traditional appearance.

Designer Bruce Kirby (of Laser and America's Cup fame) has designed a hull with traditional and classic looks that will plane readily, is comfortable to sail, surprisingly seaworthy, and easy to right in case of capsize. The self-draining cockpit quickly eliminates water when under way and makes it possible to leave the Trinka 12 safely unattended at a mooring. Customization options such as gel coat colors, rigging features, covers, cove stripes, etc. are also available.

Our 12 footer maintains the Trinka traditional appearance, complete with bold sheer, efficient rig and finished in tasteful teak trim. It's sturdy transom supports an outboard engine.
